Public Health

Change the system. Train the people in it.

For health departments, public hospital systems, and the rural and safety-net providers they fund. We run transformation projects through a project management office and build workforce training into the same engagement, so new processes arrive with staff who can run them.

Based in Hawaiʻi since 2019

Led by a public health executive

Coral MED is led by Anne Reis, MPH, PhD, CPHQ, an epidemiologist with more than 30 years in public health and healthcare quality. Offices in Kīhei and Honolulu, serving Hawaiʻi and the continental US.

Method

Assess, design, implement, sustain.

Depending on scope, the Program Director is supported by project managers, analysts, instructional designers, quality improvement specialists, informaticists, and subject-matter experts.

  1. Assess

Stakeholder interviews, workflow and workforce assessments, and a baseline performance review, so the program is sized to the gap that exists.

  2. Design

A work plan, curriculum, and performance measures developed with your team and agreed before delivery starts.

  3. Implement

Training cohorts, process improvements, and change management run by a named Program Director who reports status on a fixed schedule.

  4. Sustain and improve

Outcomes measured, competencies validated, and knowledge transferred to your staff so the result outlasts the contract.

Why training sits inside the project.

Training changes what a professional knows. It does not change the conditions they work in. When staff return from a course to unclear roles, unreliable data, or workflows that do not fit, they learn workarounds, and the training investment is lost.

We prepare the operating environment and the workforce together, so what people learn becomes how the work is done.

  • Clear roles and decision rightsStaff know what they own and what they can decide.
  • Data people trustMeasures are defined and validated before anyone is held to them.
  • Workflows that fitProcesses are redesigned with the people who run them.
  • Structured practiceNew skills are applied on real work, with supervision and feedback.
Quality control

Nothing is submitted before it is reviewed.

Every deliverable passes internal review before it reaches you.

  • Peer reviewA second qualified reviewer checks each deliverable.
  • Standard methods and evidence-based practiceWork follows documented methodologies, not individual habit.
  • Stakeholder validationFindings and designs are confirmed with the people they affect.
  • Routine status reportingProgress, risks, and decisions needed, on a schedule set at kickoff.
